3D Product Configurator

About to undertake a new marketplace web app and i’m currently l Doing some planning and mapping before i decide which platform i’ll be using to build it. I’m Not an expert at anything web development but have a pretty good knowledge base on wordpress and pretty resourceful with anything I’m unfamiliar or uncertain about.

Looking for a 3D Product Configurator specifically for modular furniture and kitchen cabinets. Knowing which configutator im going to run with will determine whether i continue using wordpress which i know fairly well, or fully commit to learning Bubble.io which i know nothing about.

Need advice with finding the right configurator,. I’ve looked at a few kitchen planners, none of them have everything i’m looking for or are already in use by competitors.
Now considering starting with a blank canvas 3D Configurator and having the rest of it built out to exactly my needs.

Need some advice on high quality 3D configurators with the following requirements –

1. Drag and Drop ( not essential for drop but definitely needs to draggable/movable items)

2. Ability to select room shape from limited number of predefined shapes and set the room size as per user input (height, width, depth).

3. Products will be mostly fixed size but the need for fully dynamic products as per user input, is essential. ( height, width, depth)

4. Intuitive modular building process with live price calculations and add to website cart option.

5 Ability to configure in both 3D view and 2D view

6. Product Catalogue needs to be updatable using DWG or DXF files etc.

7. Customisation options such as colour or texture need to be fully controlled by a backend dashboard. I.E, turn colors off. Add new colors.

It’s been a while since i built a website so little rusty. This will be quite a time intensive project for me and before i spend any money on a configurator and having my needs implemented, i wanted to review as many options as possible so i can build around it.

Not sure if there is a software available for cabinet manufacturers like Mozaik or Cabinet Vision that also has a UI for website application – not sure if this exists or not, i’ve looked at the softwares that i’m familiar with and can’t see any options.
