That means that when you first entered the tag, it was with a lower case t.
WordPress will remember the case of the first time you use a tag and retain that going forward.
For example, if the first time you use a tag about books is “Books” and the first time you use a tag about movies is “movies,” then the tags will be “Books” and “movies” going forward.
