Unless you have your email address as either the target email
or a CC
, you shouldn’t receive a copy of the petition when it is signed.
Does that answer your question?
Hello and thank you for your reply 🙂
Unfortunatly it doesnt help because the “target email” is mandatory :
The way online petitions generally work is that when a person signs it, the petition e.g. “Please build a playground”, is sent to the target, e.g. the mayor. The target email address would be the Mayor’s email.
If you don’t want to email the petition when it is signed and only want to collect signature to perhaps print a list and send them all to the mayor at once, then you should select “Do not send email (only collect signatures)”.
Oh, ok, yeah the “admin/mayor” for my case do not need to receive the confirmation email
But i still want the person who signed the petition to receive a confirmation email
In that case you should go to dashboard > SpeakOut! > settings > Display BCC field
and check the box to display the BCC option. Then the signer will receive a copy of the petition.
