Advice on Deactivating Elementor

[ad_1]

I am pretty new to web designing and have been working on a fairly simple website using Elementor. We are trying to launch soon and it is pretty much done, but I am having so much trouble with lag on Elementor, plus the reason I chose it was because it was recommended for ease of use for clients. However, as I am trying to teach my client how to use it I am realizing how unintuitive it actually is. So, I think I’ve decided to deactivate Elementor and switch it over to the WordPress builder. Does anyone have any experience with this/do I have to completely rebuild it? Or is there a way to transfer some of the content into the WP builder? Will it just take too long? And for themes, I’m looking for something totally customizable as we have a color palette and font already. Thanks.

  1. It will essentially be a rebuild. As for themes, I suggest Astra theme and their Spectra blocks. I also suggest that you set up a staging site somewhere and see if you can figure out blocks before doing anything.
