Aligning two blocks horizontally in a grid on mobile

Hi there, trying to align the logo and the login (short code block) horizontally, both on desktop and mobile. I am using a grid block, and added an image block and short code block, but this is the result. It’s like the two blocks are stacked on mobile.
I have made all sort of adjustment, but nothing helps. Is this not the right way to achieve what I want?
