Is it possible? Totally! But there is some work required.
First, just an FYI – source code and dev tools are the same thing (in this context), and hdq_result_pass isn’t a file, it’s the name of the element on the page that houses the “quiz pass text” 🙂
Please read this thread where I helped another user modify HD Quiz to keep that data server-side.
You’ll probably need a developer to implement these changes for you if you are not comfortable doing so yourself. Also note that this would not work with the “immediately mark” feature, as then we’d need to send the data and wait for the response each time an answer is chosen.
