I am currently using Siteground to host my Wrodpress websites (I’m thinking of migrating 2). I’m currently paying around $360 (off the top of my head) per year! I also have a domain registered with Siteground
I have some good knowledge of other AWS services like EC2, S3, Athena, Dynamo DB and others
The WordPress websites are very basic, and almost static (the ‘richer’ website no videos, no crazy animations, no db’s). Its basically a set of documents, with some video links and some learning resources
Ideally, I want to reduce the costs!
1. Can anyone tell me if AWS Lightsail or an other AWS equivalent (EC2) will be cheaper than Siteground?
2. Can anyone tell me how long it will take to transfer domain, and host on AWS?
