Becoming competent enough to freelance

[ad_1]

Hey everyone, I’m brand new to creating websites with wordpress but I do have prior experience with html, css, and javascript(nothing professional though). I’d honestly like pursue freelancing but I know- or at least think that I’m nowhere near as knowledgeable as I need to be right now to do so.

The thing is I’d also like to try focusing on building sites using Gutenberg as opposed to a page builder like elementor, partially so I can keep things as low-cost as possible. I also want learn how to actually build pages from “scratch” rather than just editing the content and changing the colors on the pages of an existing theme and get good enough to the point where doing something like that wouldn’t take a large amount of time to achieve.

Are there any Gutenberg-focused resources that you can point me towards that would reach the point where I’d be able to confidently develop websites using the block editor?. Most of the tutorials I see online are tailored towards building websites with elementor, and the few ones that do so with Gutenberg aren’t super in-depth and are pretty short.
