I have a submenu item inside a navigation menu, in the block editor.
The item initially was not displaying because it was linked to a page that was recently unpublished. When I do publish the page, it shows up just fine, however if I set the URL to another page that is indeed published, or set the url to blank, the submenu does not show up. Has anyone ever experienced that? Not sure why it is working like that.
My workaround was to recreate a new submenu item and drag the submenu children into the new item. That showed up fine, but I shouldn’t have had to do that.
