Hey guys, I have the WordPress Pro package from Bluehost on my WP blog but the performance is atrocious. In Google’s Page Insights, I get a 20% performance score.
First Contentful Paint and Largest Contentful Paint take 8-10 seconds to load…
I’ve heard Bluehost is bad but thought that maybe I’m doing something wrong. I tried multiple cache plugins and minifying js, html, css files but nothing worked.
When contacting them they said it was from my end and I need to clean up my theme and plugins which I think is BS as I used this theme (Newspaper 7) and similar plugins plus some on a different website and hosting (Europe based) which loads 10x faster.
Do you know a good alternative hosting solution for a US-based website/audience?
