Build A Full-Screen Custom Slideshow That Could Hold Many/Unlimited Pictures?

[ad_1]

Hi. I want to tell a story through drawings. And I want to make a website for sharing it. But I need some help/information to figure out how to do it the way I’m planning to. I was wondering if I could get any help/information from any of you people.

I want to make the website this way:

When the viewer visits the website, they see a thumbnail of the story. (You could think of Netflix’s homepage. The only difference is that this website will have only one story to choose from.)

…the story starts, showing the first picture/drawing of the story, **in full-screen.**

***So how does it work at the back-end?***

Think of it this way: I have drawn multiple pictures that tell a story, right?

When they come to my website and click on the story…

…the story starts showing the first picture of the story, in full-screen.

When the viewers click the “Next picture” button, they will get to see the second picture of the story.

And so it continues until they’ve reached the end of the story.

That’s it.

This is the thing I want to make. But I don’t know how. I don’t know anything about building websites, but I am planning to learn. I was thinking maybe if I build a **custom full-screen slideshow** that could hold **many/unlimited pictures,** then this might work. But I just don’t know how.

Also, if you have seen a slideshow on a website, then you know…

…it has some small circles below it, to indicate how many pictures are in the slideshow. **(But I don’t want that on the website I am planning to make.)**

>**So, to sum up, my goal is to build a custom full-screen slideshow that could hold many/unlimited pictures on the website, without showing the circles on its bottom area to indicate how many pictures it is holding.**

Do any of you know how this could be possible; which tools should I use? What should I learn? I’m guessing the obvious tools are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, right? And I’m planning to use the popular CMS: WordPress.org with Bluehost. But do I need anything else/more?

If you have read this far, then I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“Thank you.”
