I’ve been working on a wordpress site (one of 3-4 I’m building right now), and most of the work I need to be doing is managing and importing media files. I want to know if there is an easy way to customize / add the media button to the “My Website” dropdown menu, like the one shown here:

As the menu is different depending on whether you’re viewing it from the backend or the frontend, you’ll want to use the is_admin() conditional.
Can be done but there is not an “easy” way.
