Can not exclude trailing slash from custom links

[ad_1]

Hello dear support,

I have now battled over two hours with trying to fix a custom link that points to a file with custom get parameters:

/booking.php?server=

I used the “Exclude Paths From Translation” option to exlude the path:

/booking.php

which removed the language path but for some reason, no matter what I tried, translatepress adds a slash after .php, like this:

/booking.php/?

Which keeps breaking the script.

I have not found a hook or option to remove this. I finally had to resolve to writing a rewrite rule in the server vhost file. But that is not a good option.

Please advise me on a hook I can use to filter this specific url or add an option to remove the slashes!

Thank you,

best regards
Julian
