Custom format type not applied to core button block

Hi!

I’ve built a custom format type following [this tutorial]). This is working very well. However, the format option I’ve built does not appear for when creating a regular button block.

As far as I understand, any custom format should appear for all rich text based blocks by default. The core button block does [use rich text for the text]).

What am I missing? Is there any hook I need to use for this case?

Any advice is much appreciated.
