Hi,
I’m trying to figure out how I can make a reusable pattern where I can:
1. Change the design in one place, globally, to have it update across all instances
2. Change the content within the individual instances without it impacting the other instances
For example:
||
||
|Heading|Image|
|Paragraph|Button|
I want the styling of the Heading, Paragraph, Image and Button to be globally controlled. I want the width of each column/container to be controlled globally.
But I want to be able to fill in the Heading, Paragraph, Image and Button (URL) differently each time I use this pattern.
I tried looking at patterns and pattern overrides: [https://wordpress.com/support/advanced-block-settings/#pattern-overrides](https://wordpress.com/support/advanced-block-settings/#pattern-overrides) but my WordPress (self-hosted, not wordpress.com) doesn’t have the “**Allow instance overrides**” option. I checked with standard Gutenberg blocks as well as Spectra blocks.
Thanks!
