Did they get rid of the Star Rating block? Or is it a WP dot com-only feature?

Building my [movie review/podcast website](https://oddtrilogies.com/teenage-mutant-ninja-turtles-mutant-mayhem/), and looking for a plugin that will allow me to easily add a star rating to a post, representing my feelings about a given film. Basically the top of each review post would feature a rating out of 5 stars. (Here’s [an example of what I want](https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/gasoline-rainbow-film-review-2024), except I’d want it down at the top of the body text, below the featured image.)

I came across documentation of this [Star Rating block](https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/ratings-block/), but when I follow the instructions, the Block search in Gutenberg returns no results for “Star Rating.” I see the instruction page is on WP dot com, not dot org, so I figured maybe that’s locked to those who use WP as their host—would love some confirmation one way or another.

I see there are loads of star rating plugins available, but I’ve tried out several of them and so far they are far too limited or come with all sorts of features and bloat I don’t need.

I’d prefer to not have to resort to uploading images of a 5-star scale from 0-5 in half-star increments.

If anyone could point me to a star rating plugin that is fully style-customizable (color, size, spacing, text/labels, etc.) and doesn’t have most of its features hidden behind a subscription fee, that would be great. EDIT: I need it to be able to do half-stars, not just whole stars.
