DNS Problems with Cpanel, Cloudflare and GoDaddy

[ad_1]

I mention Cpanel, Cloudflare and GoDaddy because each says it’s the others problem.

I’m trying to get Cloudflare running and it appears to be enabled on the www versions of each of my websites, about 4 of them, but not on the non-www versions. How do I get Cloudflare running on the non-www versions?

And just a little info, my webhost uses Cloudflare so everything is done through Cpanel, or so it appears. Like I said each party says it’s not their issue and I need to contact somebody else.

  1. To set up a non www address:

    1. Create an A record in Cloudflare that points to your servers ip address.
    2. In your hosting account, set up the non-www domain name and point it to your web root.
    3. Assuming you want to access your site via the non-www address, in WordPress Settings page, set the url to the address you want.

Note that your website should only function on one url (eg non-www). Any other url format should 301 redirect to the primary url.
