DOUBT: Cloning a web or using a starter template to add e-commerce to an existing web

I’d like to add the option of e-commerce to my client’s website. I’m using an Astra template and Elementor Pro. I tried to add Woocommerce plugin but when I activated it the WP website crushed 😭

I seem to have a problem with a plugin (or several ones) but since I don’t want to spend too much time guessing which one I should delete, I’m wondering now if it would be better to clone the web to test it first Or use a starter template? HELP ✨
