I’ve been struggling for hours trying to open a Wikimedia Commons link in Essential Addons’ Tooltip widget. The URL ends in “.jpg” but does not lead to an image file. The Elementor and Essential Addons plugins attempt to search locally, assumedly, to open the URL, but I need the URL to open in a new tab as the Wikimedia Commons web page. The default WordPress editor opens the file in a new tab, but that may be because I installed the WP External Links plugin.
