I ran a very large WP sire from 2015-2020. For that build we relieved heavily on Wufoo. No matter what issue we had with the site related to WP, the forms always worked because it was a 3rd party SaaS tool. We rarely had issues; I am just saying it this way because we tried to separate as much core functionality away from the database.
Now in 2024, is there any advantage to this thinking? I would use JotForm rather than Wufoo (only because one is growing while the other is dying). I am sure the plugin options for WP are AMAZING, but I want to reduce the load on the server as much as possible and also not have to worry about the privacy issues with data we collect.
Price not being an issue, are there reasons I should avoid JotForm OR reasons I absolutely should use a WP plugin?
BTW: we plan on have about 3 smaller forms on the site and one that 27 questions with very minor branching logic.
