Friend purchased a website, was assigned Editor role. Dev finished site, handed over admin email to friend. But friend is still stuck in Editor role. Now what?

My friend hired a web developer to build her a WordPress site. The dev is handling the hosting of the site (so as far as I know, we don’t have access to phpMyAdmin), but the dev finished the site and handed off the admin email address to my friend.

So her email is assigned on the Dashboard as the admin email, however, her role is still Editor. So she can’t add plugins, etc. Adding new users also can’t add above Editor.

How do we make her user the Admin at this point?
