Hello!
TSF limits the sitemap query by default to 250 posts and pages (it used to be 1000 before TSF v5.0.5). This helps speed up indexing by making the sitemap quicker to process. We assume that old pages are already known to search engines, so their location needn’t be broadcasted. When a page or post updates, it’ll be placed in the sitemap again so that search engines know where there might be new information.
We detailed this at https://tsf.fyi/kb/sitemap#tsf-sitemap.
At “SEO Settings > Sitemap Settings > General,” you can adjust this limit (change “Sitemap Query Limit”) or even switch to a more complex sitemap (uncheck “Output optimized sitemap”).
