Help! My site keeps going down (2-4x daily) through Bluehost. I pay WP Buffs a monthly fee and they haven’t fixed it.

I keep receiving messages:

“What’s happening?
Your site is responding intermittently, or extremely slowly. This can indicate an overloaded, under-powered, or misconfigured server. Your site is probably loading for some users, but not for everyone.

Error reference: 177744320/intermittent”

Any idea how to fix this? The WP Buffs people say they disabled certain plugins but this is obviously not the root of the issue.

I also had to hire someone from Fiverr to reconfigure my cPanel because my Outlook stopped receiving messages. What in the actual banana sack is going on here??

What is going on and how do you run your business without being a dev or system engineer? It’s embarrassing to have my site go down so often. Not only do I look unprofessional but this BS is losing me money by the day.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

  1. If you aren’t technical, then don’t host your own website – have someone/company with experience go it like siteground, kinsta or any number of “managed wordpress” hosts. If you weren’t a mechanic, would you maintain your car’s engine?

  2. Bluehost is the bottom of the barrel hosting. I’d suggest you move to Cloudways.
