Help with dynamic page to static blog post

I have a WP web page with a php script embedded that downloads some data from an api and then creates a nicely formatted web page. (it’s an ebird listing.) That works great. I want to save that page as a static page with a title and have it show up in a list of weekly postings. I can’t figure out how to save it as a static page and get it to show up in a list like a blog post. Can someone point me in the right direction? I was going to convert to pdf and upload it, but I’d rather just save the html page and automate the whole thing..

  1. I’m not familiar with the eBird API (or actually that experienced with APIs in general), so I’m not sure if this is the right answer. But if I want to import external content to my websites as a page, post or custom post type, I always use WP All Import. I mostly use it for importing CSV or XML files, but it’s also possible to import via JSON files. You can customize your import and select/link the elements you want to see in your page or post. You can create cronjobs as well to keep your posts updated.
