How to link button to same page

[ad_1]

So my website right now is just one page, the home page. That’s all I need and that’s how I want it right now. At the top of the page I have a button that says “book now” and then midway down the page is a contact form. I want to link the “book now” button to the contact form so when you press “book now” it scrolls down to the contact form midway down the page. How can I link a button to a section of my website when it’s on the same page? It doesn’t appear to give me any options for this. I am currently on the free plan as I am still building the site. Do I need to upgrade?

  1. This sub is for WordPress .org, you have WordPress .com. None of our suggestions will work for you. You will need to reach out to the support for [WordPress.com](http://wordpress.com/) directly, and they should ideally be able to assist you here: [https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact](https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact)
    or here: [https://wordpress.com/forums/](https://wordpress.com/forums/)

There is a Facebook group as well: [https://www.facebook.com/groups/wordpressdotcom/](https://www.facebook.com/groups/wordpressdotcom/)

  2. Give the section holding the form an id, eg id=”booking-form”.

Then for your button, make its URL `/#booking-form` (note that this link will always go to the homepage)

  3. Add an anchor block to the section you want to it to go to. Then link to it via #anchorblockname
