Hey everybody. Hope you all are doing well. I have just joined reddit and then this community. **I wanted to ask that how I can find clients for WordPress? I have tried to get clients from Facebook groups, Fiver, different job boards but none of them worked for me. Can anyone from their experience give me some suggestion how to get first client**. I have been working on WordPress for 1.5 years and have created several projects on localhost.

Go offline, meet businesses close to you that actually need websites, like meeting people at your local chamber of commerce. Don’t be pushy, that never works – listen, give advice only when asked, and find the people who need what you offer.
If you can’t find anyone that needs a website, meet more people.

Make sure you have published projects that are visible to everyone.
Here my take to onboard your first client, network locally and online as much as possible. Fo this you can join web development communities, attend meetups & LinkedIn coonections. Showcase your work create a professional portfolio website. Offer free or discounted services initially to build your portfolio and gain testimonials. Reach out to local businesses or your ideal client(for this I use try telescope AI, it’s really helps me) i also use linkedin Navigator.
Use social media to promote your skills and engage in relevant discussions.
everywhere you listed is where to find clients with small budgets – build a portfolio of work, share it everywhere you can (don’t forget LinkedIn), talk about your work and what you do to the point when people think of websites, they think about you.
