How to re-enable all WP updates for site that says ‘This site appears to be under version control. Automatic updates are disabled.’?

Exactly as the title says.

I’m working on a site, but the updating of WordPress/plugins/themes has been disabled with the message given in the subject and I am not sure how to enable them all again?
