Login to your hosting panel, take a zipped backup of all of the files using your file manager. Also go into to the database and export that (9 times out of 10 this is phpmyadmin so you’ll find a guide easily)
Then in your localhost, extract the zip, upload the database to your localhost.
Then you’ll want to use a plugin to rewrite the urls from http://example.com/ to http://localhost/ I personally prefer to use velvet blues for this if I’m doing it through the interface. If you’re comfortable using phpmyadmin you can find a ‘update WordPress urls sql’ snippet online easily enough.
