how to set different pages for posts in WP

Hello everyone,
I’m currently building my blog using WP and I wanted to create multiple pages in this blog with each page having different posts, that’s mean I don’t want all post to come in the home page, I want them to be categorized depending on post type, for example there will be a menu item called reviews another will be called tutorial and I want all tutorial post come under tutorial page and same goes for reviews posts should be under reviews page
I managed to do similar thing by using categories to create a menue and assign any post with its relevant catagory, but the problem is that all posts will appears under home page as well and this will make the other pages I created as a duplicate of the home page, I hope I explained my problem clearly
any tips would be helpful
