So as the title says, business deals in toy air guns, but I am not able to set up a payment gateway that can accept Credit cards/Debit cards as the business goes against their policy. I tried razorpay, stripe, payu, ccavenue but no luck.
Do any one of you faced similar issue? Please help me out as the website is almost complete and I am stuck on this issue.
If card doesn't work, is there any way I can accept payment via these methods-
- Cheque
- Direct bank transfer
What a unique question. I don’t have an answer for you (I am in the USA, sorry) but what I would do is call some of the shops in your country which sell Airsoft, tell them your problem, and ask how they do payment processing.
You are in Australia, yes?
Try some searches for “high risk payment processor” and “high risk merchant accounts”. Expect a lot of questions and paperwork. You’ll also be paying much higher rates than mainstream providers to offset the risk.
Try 2checkout it works best for national and international payments. If none works best use COD the last option
You should be able to setup up WooCommerce available options such as direct bank transfer or UPI, but you need to check the payment gateways policies for air guns
What are their competitors using for payment processing?
Try GoDaddy payments
What’s your client doing about this? Starting up a business and figuring out how to take money is not the job of a web developer, even though we wind up helping people with these situations all the time. The business owner should be taking the lead on this.
That being said, I’ve had to do this in the past when my client just hadn’t set up their credit card processing. I used WooCommerce, which has a very large slate of payment options, including checks and, I think, ACH transfer. There’s also a “Manual” option you can use. The main thing here is that the shop owner has to manually go in and mark that payment is complete so that orders can be shipped.
