So I’m making a board game for girlfriend that functions like an RPG played over a large period of time. While playing, she would acquire different materials, and I was thinking of making a page where she can track that stuff.
Basically all I need are clickable button that decrease or increase the values on a page by 1. And for the changes to be saved. Is that possible? What would be the best way to go about doing it?

Have you searched for a plugin that can accomplish that? If one doesn’t exist, you would have to code it yourself or hire someone. You can find freelance developers on the big freelance marketplaces.
Sure, it’s possible. I wouldn’t recommend wordpress for that; you could but it’s like you’re building a tank to swat a fly.
Why not just something in a Google sheet? You can even style it.
