Hey, I was working on a new project, it is a social networking website. So I didn’t launch my website yet but I had over 1500 users to register through a google form which I thought to import when the website is completed. But now I just realised that usernames on wordpress cannot be changed and I had no field for usernames. I also have few people with the same names and I also dont have their full names as there was only one field for name aswell. So what should I be doing now? Is there anyway users can change their username after I put them on website?
WordPress won’t let 2 (or more) users have the same users – it’s not possible.
Use their email address when you import the Google form data.
