i need an age gate but don’t want to pay for a business plan

anyone know of an alternative that isn’t a wordpress plug-in, that is free or low cost? $25/mo. (wordpress’ business plan rate) is too much for me unless i make this a paid site and i’m not trying to do that at this point. But it is an adult site so i need to keep kids out of it.

i have a domain name thru godaddy and pay wordpress $13/yr for domain mapping. i’m on the free wordpress plan right now and i’m quite sure that won’t be viable forever either but i’m not ready to go to a business plan yet.
