I am working on a shop for a furniture store. In the header, there’s a menu with the different product categories. When I click on bedroom, for example, it goes into the shop and to the left where the categories are, bedroom will be selected. But the products will not be only those in the bedroom category. As soon as I uncheck and check this box again though the right are products are displayed. How do I correct this so that when someone clicks on bedroom on the header menu, it will show only the products in the bedroom category?

You can set the category page to show products using the theme customizer (assuming this is woocommerce)
