I’m an experienced developer trying to help a friend–a writer–whose site is on WordPress.com.
I helped him select-and-activate the 2011 theme, and create a navigation menu with four options (Home, About, Books, Contact).
My question: I showed him how to go to Pages > About to add text content. But when we changed the internal page headline from “About” to “About the books”, I noticed that the new text had been duplicated into the navigation bar above.
How to prevent this? To me, the contents of the nav bar are an “administrative” function above/outside the page content.
