Migrating Woocommerce Store – Why WP All Import doesn’t automatically map attributes?

[ad_1]

I am migrating a woocommerce store from production site to dev site using WP All Import. I exported a “bundle” file and imported the file to the new site (which took nearly 48 hours BTW). When the import was complete, all products were there, all categories were there, and attributes; however, none of the attributes made it into the product view.

WP All Import instructions illustrate that a user has to map all the attributes in a product template, but our store is full of antiques, fine art, jewelry and rare coins and as such, we have over 200 attributes. Am I missing a setting or checkbox or something? I cant imagine i have to manually map all 200+ attributes in the import dashboard. Is there a better option out there? Let me know.

  1. Have you tried the built in Woocomerce import/export? It works pretty well and might be easier if All import isn’t working for you.
