Hi I have some questios about multisite.
Premise:
I want create a landing page which aggregates 3 web-sites dealing with different contents but having the sane core thematic. After sone research I believe a single multisite wp installation (with subdomains) would be the best choice, instead of performing 3/4 different wp installations on the hosting server (a private one).
My question here is about possible bad effects that multisite installatins can have on a server which is also hosting AI applications which require a carefull management of the server. Would the wp network slow my server down significantly or mess it up? Is it more dangerous for the safety of the whole server content compared to multiple wordpress installations? Or is multisite a better choice rather than the latter?
Also I would appreciate if any of you has a similar experience (multisite wp on a server hosting ai applications) and wants to share their thoughts here. 😊

*”Would the wp network slow my server down significantly or mess it up?”* – no. Multisite has very similar resource use compared to regular WP. You wouldn’t choose multisite over regular WP for performance reasons – mainly just maintenance reasons.
“ai applications”…. that’s a very broad question and impossible to answer. Monitor your server and app resources with tools like New Relic and ‘top’.
I have no idea what your server is doing or how it’s configured, the weight of your sites, or any other specifics that would help answer so I can only paint in broad strokes. But that said, a multisite installation of the size you are describing (small) shouldn’t have any significant if even measurable difference than 3 or 4 single installations on the same server.
