I can see traffic requests to a wp-admin URL from an IP based in the UAE from a plugin called Litespeed. I am assuming this is malicious. I don't have this plugin installed. I have blocked the IP. How does an attack like this work?
They’re just trying the URL in case you have that plugin installed. They likely have an exploit for that plugin, and are looking for sites that are using it.
