Question About Changing DNS Servers

[ad_1]

Hi all,

I’m helping revamp a website for a company that I am a part of. We are looking to integrate a third party host (a point of sale service) into our website and they said that to do so we have to change the DNS records.

Well, I looked into changing the DNS records (thank god for YT) but realized that I only have editorial access. Am I wrong, or can only administrators make that change? To make things worse nobody is sure who has access to any of the administrative accounts.

Just looking for help to solve this issue as soon as possible. Thank you in advance!

  1. DNS is held at the domain registrar, like GoDaddy. You can’t make those kinds of changes on the website itself. Whoever controls your domain can make the necessary changes.
