i have 2 very big problems optimizing my site, which just don’t want to work. I would be very happy about any help!
1. Sitemap rankmath: It’s about the rankmath plugin. I just can’t get it to update the sitemap. Likewise, an image is still displayed in the sitemap, which I have long since deactivated, and no matter what new text I write in the sitemap, it simply will not be updated. I’ve already tried the standard “change the link count and update the permalinks page” tactic. It does not help. The text remains the same and the image still appears. I also cleared the cache with a plugin.
2. Favicon not showing on Google search results:
Unfortunately, I can’t get a favicon to be displayed next to the search results. However, the favicon appears at the top of the tab bar, but not on Google. Instead, the normal “world icon” appears. I’ve already tried every format and also copied that from sites where it works (150×150, 48×48), unfortunately without any success.
If anyone could give me some advices it would be very very appreciated and you guys would help me a LOT!
