Really need help

[ad_1]

So i am building a website for a company. they have purchased astra pro through some crack website thing and they are using it as a plugin. but turns out the astra pro is nothing but the same astra yet the company still wants to run the crack version instead of removing it and downloading the standard astra from the store.

The problem is everytime i edit the website , it shows the results accordingly (cause i am the admin) but when seen from incognito, the whole website is distorted. some elements are very old that i had updated, some elements are latest updated and it’s unorganized.

i have used elementor, beaver builder but still same problem. now they want me to make everything again using basic WordPress builder.

any solutions?

  1. That site will be infected with malware. Install Wordfence and run a scan. Tell them to stop being cheapskates and pay the measly $50. FFS.

  2. Walk away.

If they’re not willing to do the legitimate thing you’ll end up spending way too much time fixing problems that are not of your making and you’ll not be paid for.

    Walk. Away.

  3. I agree with the others. Walk away.

The sites going to have malware and you won’t be able to keep it up to date so it’ll have more issues in the future too. They need the real theme.

  4. I got the Divi theme through [gpldl.com]) and ran it through VirusTotal and there were no viruses, compared to another site. I then got a username and API key on a YouTube video to access premade pages. Just get it through there if you want it. Or just pay the money.

  5. While the client might not be worth the trouble you might still need to money so….

If incognito is different than logged in, it could be a simple cache issue. Cache doesn’t trigger if you are logged in.

If the Astra pro they are using ia nothing but a virus riddled version of Astra, install Astra and don’t tell them about it. Or prove it by doing a staging site and making the change there.
