Hi – I seem to have an issue with Recaptcha & CF7. With Recaptcha v3 I’m seeing a lot of requests (thousands per day) in the “Total requests” field on the Google Recaptcha console and I’m also seeing the warning message:
We detected that your site is not verifying Recaptcha tokens. Please see our developer site for more information.
It appears to be hitting Google Recaptcha for every single site page view, hence the high number of requests. I’m not sure if this is normal? I know the js scripts load for every page but I wasn’t sure if it was making requests for every page.
Regarding the error/warning, I can’t figure why this might be happening. I’m guessing possibly some Javascript issue – conflict with theme/other plugins perhaps, or order in which they’re being run. Other than that I think Recaptcha is actually working OK as I’m not getting much spam! I’ve had a quick look through in a browser debugging session and nothing obvious stands out.
