Yes of course, that’s indeed possible. You actually have two options available:
- You can turn off the booking process from the Configuration settings in VikBooking. This way booking any room will not be allowed. You can then choose to enable the “Request Information” setting from the parameters of each room-type, so that the room-details page will allow guests to submit inquiries.
- You can choose to display 0 month-calendars from the Configuration settings in VikBooking. However, this solution will only hide the availability calendars, but it will still allow guests to complete a reservation. This may also be a good solution in case you would like to offer “offline” payment solutions, or if you would like to manually edit and approve the pending reservations. It would like a sort of a “request approval” feature. Please notice that this solution requires the commercial version of VikBooking in order to be able to publish and properly configure an offline payment solution, like the “Bank Transfer” where no credit card transactions will take place, and where you can give the payment method a name like “Request Approval”.
