Hi,
I have a customer site that requires some forms to be filled out as part of a vehicle hire service. The forms are the usual affair with details of the hirer, details of driving records, etc.
As part of the insurance process there needs to be a form filled in that is provided by the insurers, it has it’s own branding and some legally binding sections that all insurers will ask for. Driving record, any convictions, etc. etc.
I’d like this to be as slick a workflow as possible; at the moment it’s cumbersome and difficult to fill out on a mobile device. At the end of the process i’d like the form to be processed and sent to the customer with a section that is signed by the hirer (this can be a check box, or the ability to scribble something on a touchscreen).
Currently i’m using Kadence Forms, the free version and it’s just about there. THe pro version enables some of these features but on a triel it still seemed a little clunky.
I can use logic to load a form / view depending on device detection but the most important thing is for the forms to be easy, intuitive and provide the information required.
This is the only site i need this for so i’m not super enthusiastic about a subscription model but this seems to be the way with everything these days. A single site license would be doable providing it’s not a chunk of cash that i’d have to pass on to the client.
Interested to hear what the community provides?
Last resort i could build something from scratch in html / php but this would be more maintenance. Mega bonus points if we can export the resultant form to a DB table and i could set up something for a returning customer and remember the basic details.
Moon on a stick? Perhaps…

Have a look at WPForms Lite (free).
Just install the WPForms plugin and you will get Lite automatically.
