Sorry I should have said … the Tabs on the pages are “Other Suggested Lyrics” and “View ALL Lyrics”
Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
To hopefully fix this, please add this to the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen of TablePress:
.tablepress {
width: 100% !important;
}Regards,
Tobias
Nearly sorted! Easy when you know how! … except that ‘collapse’ appears to be be working on a mobile for table ID 1, but not for the other 2 tables (IDs 3 and 6)
Hi,
I’m afraid that there’s no direct solution to that at the moment. The problem here is that this table is initially hidden, and only shown in that collapsible “View ALL Lyrics” section. Due to that, when the collapse mode is activated, certain table calculations, like the column widths, can not be made, as an initially hidden table does not have a column width internally. This means, that the collapse mode will only really work nicely with tables that are initially visible (when the page is loaded).

Tobias
OK. Many thanks, again, Tobin. I think I’ll stick with the ‘stack’ option for now then, and play with page layouts to see if un-hidden tables will work OK.
From what you said about “no direct solution” … does that mean you might be able to dream up some magic coding to solve it in the future???!!!
Hi,
yes, in principle this could be solvable, but it would always require custom code on the site, which is not easy to integrate (it would require editing theme or plugin JS files). Therefore, I haven’t really looked into it to find a good procedure for this.
Therefore, using a different mode would be my recommendation here as well, at this time.

Tobias
OK, great. Sorry if I’ve given you a slight headache!
Hi,
no worries, you haven’t 🙂 I also always learn something from these things!
Best wishes,
Tobias
