Help! I want to sell e-books online using WordPress. I have to sell educational material for a publishing house.
The biggest concern is that the e-book is passed on among fellow students, so that revenue is lost.
How can I best protect my e-book from illegal sharing on my WordPress website?
I myself have had the following themes/topics to turn to in relation to solutions:
1) Two-factor authentication (2FA)
2) Easy Digital Downloads plugin
3) MitID login (if it doesn’t cost the tip of a jet fighter)
4) Watermarking
5) Communication with warnings about plagiarism/sharing
6) Session timeout
I agree that it probably cannot be avoided 100% that the books are passed on illegally.
Do you have other suggestions/solutions?
