Service or plugin to monitor if a page changes, or a form stops working?

I haven’t nailed down why, but GravityForms dissapears from pages randomly until I regenerate elementors files. I believe it happens when I update things, but I want to be absolutely sure I get notified when the forms stop showing up.

What could I do to achieve this? I had a friend mention datadogs once, but I don’t think that does what I’m looking for.

  1. There are several approaches you could take here.

Here are a few possibilities, but I’m sure there are probably also other services out there that would achieve something similar:

    – You could wire up a [Puppeteer](https://pptr.dev/) / [Playwright](https://playwright.dev/) script to hit your website and check for the existence of your form element and then send yourself an alert (maybe through [Mailgun](https://www.mailgun.com/) or something similar) if the form is missing
    – You could make a `curl`, `fetch`, etc. request and parse the response HTML to check for the existence of your form, and then send yourself an alert if the form is missing
    – You could use Datadog’s [Synthetic Browser Testing](https://docs.datadoghq.com/synthetics/browser_tests/) and checking for the existence of your form element in a synthetic test and have the monitor alert you when the test fails
    – You could use GitHub Actions (or your preferred CI/CD provider) or a cron job to run a visual diff test against your production URL and then send yourself an alert if the form is missing (**Note**: visual diff tests can be fickle depending on how they are run and how dynamic your UI is; it sounds like you’d be better served by looking for the form in the actual DOM in this case)

    Hope that helps!
