Hi. I’m looking for a way to automatically apply a tag or category to a custom post type. Posts have the “uncategorized” category, but I’ve set up 4 additional custom posts. The client will end up creating new posts for each and I need to find a fool-proof way to ensure the correct category or tag is applied to any new custom posts. I’m using these categories (I’d prefer to do a tag for these) to filter into post widgets on several areas of the website. I’m afraid that the custom posts could be filtered into the wrong areas if they aren’t careful. I hope that makes sense
