Small favicon problem

[ad_1]

Site was built using Themify ‘Ultra’. Themify themes have a built-in setting for a favicon – it does the job but someone has noticed that when opening a PDF on the site, the icon changes to the standard WordPress ‘W’ (she called it ‘ugly’!). Would I be better to use a third-party plugin for this or is there a better way to do it without plugins? Site is totally functional without this and IMO 99.9% of users will NOT notice the favicon so it’s definitely not worth taking ‘heroic’ measures to address it.

  1. I use Themify too. Btw you can add .ico on your web hosting folder. You can convert it from jpg or png with irfanview software. Maybe you need to install the plugin for .ico extension. I don’t remember clearly.
