Glad to help.

If the plugin is not active, it cannot do anything. So your site will display whichever theme is active under the Themes menu. Also when the plugin is not active, whatever is happening on your site is determined by the active theme and any active plugins.

That in mind, there are a couple of things to try:

  1. Check if the site is running any cache plugin(s), and if so try clearing/resetting the cache.
  2. If that doesn’t help, best advice would be to do some basic troubleshooting of your theme and plugins. I would be glad to provide a free guide for this if it might be useful for you.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can provide any further information.

Okay. Thank you for your quick reply. It seems I could solve the problem by removing the theme I made. I will let the theme developers look at the other problem.

Okay glad you got it sorted, @mathijsvdbeek. Cheers.
